I was born in Uppsala and in 1985 I moved to Lidingö.
I have been drawing since childhood and nature, colors and creating in different forms have always been close to me. With an artistic mother who painted and photographed, creation was a natural part of life.
In 2012, I started painting after a very inspiring art course. I have my own studio where I mostly paint with acrylic but sometimes I mix in stones, clay, glass, bark and sheet metal.
When I was 10, I had to borrow my mother's camera when we went on a school trip to Stockholm and there started my interest in photography, which I now use as an inspiration for new paintings.
To find greatness in small things like a small flower or in a drop of dew early in the morning is to discover the beauty of the world, whether small or large. Having the opportunity to examine different materials and be able to express myself in different ways is as important to me as breathing.
